How Cell Phone Technology Changes Your Life

Cell phones have become a necessity for most people, and more are choosing to purchase one as opposed to a traditional phone. With the wide variety of cell phone technology available today, consumers can personalize their phones to include features that are important to them. Choosing the right features is essential if you want your phone to perform better and have a longer life.

Cell phones are not one size fits all. Each person has different needs, and there are different cell phone features available for each individual. A smart phone may include one or two different features, while a larger, more commonly used cell phone may have as many as five or six different features. Deciding which features you need will help you narrow down the choices in your phone.

Voice Recognition: Most cell phones come with a built-in voice recognition feature. However, you can get software to augment this feature. If your phone doesn’t have voice recognition, you can purchase voice recognition software that will recognize your voice. Then you can dial any number by simply saying the number. This is especially convenient if you frequently leave calls during the day or give multiple ones – you can touch the number and have it automatically dial when you have more calls.

Text Messaging: Some phones come equipped with a messaging application. These allow you to send text messages to friends and family all over the world. The text messaging functions vary depending on the phone you buy. Some phones allow you to select what type of text messages you’d like to send and some allow you to send unlimited texts.

Web Browsing: Many cell phones come equipped with Internet browsers. These provide online access, allowing you to browse the Internet and check the news. You can even use your phone as a remote access keyboard for the computer, so that you can surf the Internet on your phone from any location where there’s an available connection. However, not all phones have access to the Internet browser feature.

Global Positioning System or GPS: This technology is a set of satellites that circle the earth twice a day. They send back information about their location, enabling you to find out where the phone is. You can also use this information to locate a particular person or to track your family members. It’s extremely important in emergency situations.

Other features include motion sensor technology, call screening, water resistant feature, and speaker phone capabilities. However, some phones do not have voice calling capability, such as the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc and AT&T VOIP Phones. Other cell phone companies such as Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, and Blackberry offer phones with Internet calling capabilities. You can also find devices with voice mail, video camera, music player, and camera with image display feature. In addition, you can choose from a variety of battery and memory types. The battery life depends on the amount of applications you’re using at the same time.

Cell phones are the perfect way to stay connected with your friends and family, even when you’re on the go. They are convenient, stylish, and easy to use. All you need is a good phone, an Internet connection, and your wallet. Don’t forget to choose the best cell phone plan. With a good plan, you can make long distance calls for much less money than you would spend on a new laptop or computer!

Some phones include a feature called infrared sensor. This feature allows the phone to detect your finger, which it thinks is a call bell. If the phone senses your finger, it dials the number on your touch tone dialpad. This is a neat feature that I really like.

One feature that is becoming more popular is video calling. With this feature, the video is played directly to the phone. You can see the person on the other line, and you can hear them, too. The cool part is you can see and hear the person, and you can hear what they are saying. This is a great feature for those who are always in different rooms at the same time.

Cell phone technology is changing all the time. In the future, we are going to see many more cell phones with Internet capabilities. Others will be able to surf the Internet wirelessly. Still others will be able to send and receive faxes, and email. All of these features are already available in some of the higher end phones, but we are quickly seeing other features being added as well.
